The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing cutting, framing, and routing of panel products in the sequence required by production. The Warehouse Associate will also conduct preventative maintenance of equipment and sort and organize scrap materials. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize based on instruction, adhere to safety requirements, and be detail-oriented.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Efficiently perform workload based on multiple factors including: staging space, delivery schedule, material availability, and thickness/color/profile
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machinery
- Communicate with Sales Department to ensure a quality product
- Load and unload coils onto machines
- Load and unload both customers and supply trucks with forklift
- Follow SOP for packaging and loading panels
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma/GED required
- Familiarity with sheet metal installation and equipment (Metal Flashings, Drainage Flashings, Roofing Panels, and Wall Panels) preferred
- Current forklift certification
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis
- Willingness to take on special projects as assigned
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
