Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unpack boxes, inspect goods, and return unsatisfactory or damaged items to the wholesaler or distributor.
- Safely and accurately select customer orders, ensuring they are free of damage.
- Assemble orders based on assigned load tickets.
- Securely wrap and label orders.
- Transport completed orders to the loading dock or trailer.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or walkie-riders.
- Receive inbound products accurately, replenish inventory, and manage it as required.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Perform basic sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment, including clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to meet productivity targets.
- Undertake other assigned projects or duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations according to company policy.
- Prepare orders by fulfilling requests: accurately pulling materials and placing them in the designated area for customer pickup or delivery; loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain inventory control by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
- Ability to organize the warehouse and manage bin locations effectively.
- Uphold, promote, and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to company operating standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.93 - $21.59 per hour
