Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure orders and shipping quantities and batches match picking documents through careful audit of said documents.
• Reviews and evaluates in coming raw materials to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Communicates with Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Management and/or Quality Control/Quality Assurance regarding raw materials, implementing supplier concerns according to shipping requirements.
• Assist with maintaining warehouse inventory to ensure material control as well as working with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Ensures continuous accountability of products purchased, keeping current records of incoming materials, pick tickets, and in process material demands as well as finished goods being shipped.
• Communicates with carriers for incoming and outgoing products as required.
• Assemble packaging materials and packages merchandise per instructions, in preparation for each shipment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Examines routing documentation for accuracy of packing instructions and generates Change Requests as necessary.
• Prepare documentation for shipments.
• Accurately completes transactions in the computer in a timely manner
• Performs routine shipping duties as required.
• Follows cleanroom safety and ISO procedures.
• Assist with calls to carriers to arrange for pick-up shipments.
• Follow all company safety requirements.
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to operate fork lift (will train)
- Experience with SAP, MII and Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma/GED
Physical Demands:
Work environment is air conditioned, and temperature will vary with the season and outside weather conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
