Seeking an individual who can:

• Safely operate a propane-powered forklift, sit down or stand up, and obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire. (Level II only)
• Operate machinery, tools, office equipment, and other special equipment used: hand scanner, scissors, box cutters, crates, rolling carts, straps/bands, and hand truck.
• Use of handheld scanner and lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Understand receiving- take parts assigned form from the semi-loading dock. Check label. Print appropriate tags.
• Understand Kanban tasks consisting of unboxing smaller parts into pans and loading a push/pull wheeled cart for delivery to our customers.
• Understand kitting- will pick orders and arrange the parts on the cart/rack.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
• Previous warehouse, Kanban, kitting, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is encouraged but not necessary.

• Exposure to noise and changes in temperature depending on the time of year, down to about 45 degrees.
  
• Amount of each day spent: Standing/Walking: 50% Sitting: 50% Working Inside: 90% Working Outside: 10%.
• Must be able to alternate walking, standing, sitting, twisting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds.

• Sort and distribute products within the warehouse.

• Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

• Conveys materials and items from the receiving production area to store or to move to other designated areas by hand or pallet jack.

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, or product code.

• Assembles customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stations or shipping departments.

• Marks materials with identifying information. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

• May use computer to enter records, either by hand or scan product codes.

• May copy worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
