Reports To: Plant Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Clerk serves as a primary administrative operations contact providing plant purchasing, HR processing and general assistance with plant documentation and records processing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: These are the general duties required to fulfill the role, not a detailed description of all work required. New duties and responsibilities may be required to meet the changing demands of the business. Understand and be able to execute all shipping receiving duties.
- Fill in for shipping and receiving clerk when necessary.
- Be responsible for proper receiving of all incoming raw materials and packaging.
- Oversee plant inventory corroboration, including cycle counts, reporting and investigation of anomalies
- Confer with purchasing to ensure PO, Receipt and Inspection verification.
- Maintain production records and filing systems.
- Assist with production tasks, such as product conversion projects and label/packaging.
- Data entry of receiving and production information as required.
- Assists in maintaining plant reports.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Plant Manager
Requirements
- Organization skills and execution is paramount
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite, specifically Excel
- Knowledge of 3-way matching for invoices and ability to execute program.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage is preferred)
- Knowledge of inventory management and raw material procurement
- Ability to balance timelines and manage multiple milestones; skilled in multitasking
- Able to work alone and make decisions with information available, and seek resources when sufficient
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma – required
- Associates of Science Degree or other preferred
- 5+ Years plant experience
