Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Associate will prepare shipments and stage product for pickup or delivery. The Warehouse Associate will perform inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to move and load materials to proper locations or storage bins
- Unload, inspect and verify incoming shipments
- Rejects damaged products, records shortages or overages
- Maintains inventory of shipping material and supplies
- Reports all defective, or questionable materials
- Pull orders, verify inventory accuracy
- Load customer/ installer orders
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Perform cycle counting and/or inventory counts as designated by management
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned

- Basic computer skills familiar with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of distribution, inventory and purchasing functions

- Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Valid Driver’s license
- ***Experience with forklifts or hand trucks required***
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in warehouse conditions with proper air circulation and ventilation
- Exposed to moving equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Talking, hearing, listening
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
