The position
Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety-focused Warehouse Associateto join our dynamic team in the Product Destruction division.

What you will be doing
Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority.
• Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities.
• Hands-on operation of hand-tools, baling machine, and other company equipment.
• Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel.
• Sorting, cutting, baling, etc. nonhazardous material to prepare for recycling operations.
• Separate processed materials into appropriate bins for recycling.
• Will need to be able to lift 50 pounds, sustain frequent bending, and stand for an extended period of time.
• Record keeping

What we are looking for
Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hours
• Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in proper condition.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
• Works well in a team environment with other team members
• Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records
• Use of all necessary Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves/sleeves, and retractable box cutters will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment

Essential Physical Job Functions:

• Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
• Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, and hearing protection.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures depending on season, varying noise levels, and occasional fragrances
