As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc., you will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.

Location: 5350 Hunter Road, Atlanta, GA 30349

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base pay is $18/hour (some shifts offer a premium)

Shifts:

• 2B: Wednesday-Saturday, 3:00pm-3:30am ($19.98/hour)

• Second Shift- 1:00pm-9:30pm, Monday- Friday ($18/hour + $1.50 Night Shift Premium)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists

• Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies

• Operates electronic hardware/RF units

Basic Qualifications:

• One year of previous work or volunteer experience

• Candidates must be 18 years or older

• Willing and able to be trained on heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers and overhead hoists

• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures

• Frequently lift parts up to 50 pounds individually

• Frequently bending, reaching, climbing, walking and squatting while performing job tasks

Top Candidates Will Have:

• Previous forklift, order/cherry picker, and/or reach truck experience

Additional Information:

Actual shift availability varies week by week and successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift.

Other shifts could include:

• First Shift- 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday ($18/hour)

• Third Shift- 9:00pm-5:30am, Sunday-Thursday ($18/hour + $1.50 Night Shift Premium)

• 1B: Thursday-Saturday, 3:00am-3:30pm ($19.98/hr)

• 2A: Sunday-Tuesday, 3:00pm-3:00am ($19.98/hr)
