Warehouse Assembler Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assembler to join our facility. The warehouse assembler will be responsible for the complete assembly process of a cabinet.
Warehouse Assembler Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Creativity and design skills
- Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
- Joinery or cabinet-making skills
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass drug test/background check
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Able to work night, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Warehouse Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembled cabinets.
- Verified dimensions.
- Checked the quality and fit of pieces.
- Measured and marked dimensions of parts on paper or lumber stock prior to cutting.
- Reinforced joints with nails or other fasteners.
- Used power tools including drills, routers, saws, lathes, mill sanders.
- Worked with a variety of materials including hardwoods.
- Prepared articles for finishing by trimming, sanding.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
