Summary
Under minimal supervision, this role maintains accurate warehousing expense records that can be used by the Supply Chain management team for operational decisions, forecasting, and strategic planning. Works directly with company management to ensure proper application and interpretation of operational and financial information and special analysis of critical issues. Provides analysis of expenses by working closely with and interfacing regularly with various departments including Accounting, Transportation, Warehousing, and Deployment.
Key Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with Food Group Corporate and governmental regulations and policies by maintaining programs and systems in accordance with company policies. Such as keeping up to date records of audit certifications, insurance, and accurate recap of rate documents of our 3pl partners for internal department use.
• Maintains processes and procedures to ensure operational reports, financial reports and other analytical information and systems are accurate, timely and informative.
• Provides the Supply Chain operational and expense research, review and analysis of warehouse storage, handling, and accessorial charges.
• Provide expense review/audit/approval of 3pl invoices for warehouse management to ensure accuracy and to adhere to negotiated terms.
• On a case-by-case basis this person could be asked to assist management with operational projects related to non-conforming inventory, such as: Recasing, track and trace, reconciliation of held inventory, or QA investigation.

Typical Education
Associate's Degree (A.A. or equivalent)
Relevant Experience
3+ years related experience and/or training
Other Information
Ability to collect and present summary data appropriately to senior management and make recommendations in line with strategic operations. Ability to work on cross-functional teams, either as a member or leader. Ability to work independently with little oversight or supervision.
