SalaryFood Distributor on Long Island is seeking an experienced Warehouse Clerk to assist with various nightly warehouse office functions. Days and hours are Sunday through Thursday from 5:30pm to shift end with flexibility to work overtime (OT) if needed.
Duties:
Coordinating with transportation team, warehouse supervisors, and customer service to digitally organize pallets within fleet of trucks for outgoing deliveries. Print and organize invoices, route sheets, etc. Work with Warehouse Management System and various software applications.
- MUST be able to work Sunday thru Thursday from 5:30pm until approximately 3:00am (MUST be flexible to work overtime when business needs dictate)
- Walking the floor and auditing pallets – entering all 3-different temperature zones (Freezer, refrigerator, dry area of warehouse)
- Working with truck loaders to ensure loading directions are followed, or directions are updated when necessary
- Invoicing all distribution routes
- Light warehouse work when needed
- Log and review shipping data using Microsoft Excel, Paint, Word
Requirements
- MUST be proficient with the computer, including Microsoft Excel.

- Spanish preferred
