Waitress/Cashier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Prepare bills and process payments accurately
- Clean tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Good math skills for accurate billing and handling of cash transactions
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for effective guest relations

We are staffed Wed-Sun and are looking for someone that would be able to work most of these days each week, especially Friday and Saturday. We are also looking for someone over 18 years old so that they can serve alcohol without needing someone older for assistance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
