About us

Something Special Bar and Lounge is the first of its kind upscale bar and restaurant in Conyers, Georgia. It is a 21 and over club that will serve delicious food and drinks while offering hookah on its outdoor patio. We will be open Thursday -Monday with brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays.

```Duties```
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Process payments using cash handling procedures and POS systems (e.g.,Toast POS)
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas

```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar environment
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to operate a cash register
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Toast , is preferred
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
