The T-Mobile for Business Operations team is searching for a passionate and talented VP who will stand-up and lead a team to deliver flawless execution of initiatives across the T-Mobile Business Group portfolio. The VP, Value Creation and Insights role will drive the vision and execution for TFB data governance, analytics, insights and Value Creation, delivering actionable insights and driving business outcomes.
The leader will provide key insights into lead marketing, performance and E2E customer journey opportunities and will create a culture of data-driven decision-making, to empower teams to leverage data and analytics effectively. This role will partner closely with enterprise data and the TFB experience teams to define opportunities. Another key function will be to leverage data driven business insights, strategy methods, and NBA modeling to deepen customer relationships at all levels and develop predictive churn models to identify at-risk customers and implement retention strategies. This leader will lead the team focused on operationalizing churn models and improvements. They will be on point to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of attrition, including conducting in-depth analysis of customer behaviors, usage patterns, and feedback to understand reasons for leaving T-Mobile.
The VP will impact revenue generation and cost reduction by driving efficiencies for all TFB channels, delivering solutions for customer facing channels and employees.
A successful candidate for this role will bring a track record of successful data management in well-regarded high growth companies with experience leading transformational efforts and subsequently driving synergies through integration. Additionally, this leader will demonstrate a deep understanding of business financials and business acumen to create economic value to the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Be responsible for delivering data and insight enabled solutions across all segments of TFB.
  • Execute enterprise strategies and business group specific solutions that are required for supporting large account sales and support.
  • Be responsible for actively planning and managing a portfolio of high-quality data & Insights to assist in delivering solutions through the entire lifecycle -envisioning/investing/sustaining/retiring.
  • Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities for their organization, and recommending and implementing changes to methods and tools.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics Marketing, Computer Science or fourteen years related work experience post high school. (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • More than 10 years Experience in leading large cross functional organizations with focus on big data and AI solutions (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to form strategic partnerships with senior internal customers within and outside of the TFB organization. (Required)
  • Intimately understands business strategies with talent in generating new ideas, managing issues and can ensure that strategy is appropriately aligned throughout all TFB segments, Marketing, Sales, Care, etc. (Required)
  • Familiarity and experience with multiple technology service delivery models and methodologies (Agile, waterfall, DevOps, ITIL). (Required)
  • Successful delivery of complex and large-scale technological solutions.
  • Experience in leading large TFB-wide deployments. (Required)
  • Proven leadership in a comparably sized, complex and matrixed portfolio environment. Comfortable working on an elevated stage; able to seamlessly interact with, and balance the needs of, senior stakeholders. (Required)
  • Strong spoken, written and presentation skills. (Required)
  • Communicate credibly with senior leadership and influence key stakeholders. (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age

Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):No Washington Pay Range : $234,900.00 - $317,900.00 The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
