VP, Strategic Sourcing

The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading the Company's global Strategic Sourcing department under the direction of the Company's General Counsel. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced professional with experience managing the end-to-end global procurement function at a multi-national SaaS company. This will be a remote position, in the US. Candidates located in Los Angeles or West Coast are preferred.

The key objective of this position is to continue building the optimal procurement process by implementing current best practices, enabling the efficient transaction flow, ensuring strict adherence to the procure-to-pay process and controls, leveraging the Company's buying power while ensuring required service quality and supplier performance are maintained with a high degree of stakeholder satisfaction.

In this role you will....

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies aligned with the Company's objectives and financial goals.
• Manage entire lifecycle of procurement and sourcing.
• Collaborate with senior management to determine procurement priorities and budget allocation.
• Establish clear procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
• Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities through Strategic Sourcing and value analysis initiatives.
• Implement cost management strategies to control expenses and improve overall procurement efficiency.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with ethical sourcing practices and sustainability guidelines.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize procurement processes.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function, encouraging innovation and efficiency gains.
• Manage Strategic Sourcing team and budget. Identify department KPIs and measure and monitor performance against them.
• Provide leadership on best-practice procurement strategies and practices during periods of company growth, scaling, mergers/acquisitions, and integrations.
• Develop, train, coach, and mentor the Strategic Sourcing professionals on the team.

You've got what it takes if you have....

• A minimum 12 years strategic management experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership position at a multi-national SaaS company.
• Proven leadership experience with deep understanding of best-in-class procurement business practices.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology and new solutions to efficiently scale the procurement function in a high growth company.
• Strong business acumen and ability to analyze how economic trends will impact business.
• Strong project management skills, demonstrated "hands on" leader and the ability to manage competing priorities while driving larger organizational goals.
• Experience driving year over year cost savings across multiple spend categories, developing KPIs and actionable solutions.
• The ability to inflenuce and a problem solve.  You are able to drive consensus across stakeholders and able to demonstrate business partnering effectiveness.
• Accountable and self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and limited information.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Total Rewards:

At Cornerstone, our transparent total rewards program is based on three core tenets: equitable pay, market dynamic research, and skill-based appraisal.
The base salary range for this position is: $215000 - $344000 USD
In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package. Additional base pay may be available if you reside in a high-cost metro area (New York City or San Francisco Bay Area).
This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Where an individual's pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
