Opportunity:

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is expected to provide vision and strategic direction for the company. He/she will have responsibility and accountability for meeting the goals and objectives of the company and will develop growth strategies and identify opportunities that lead to future growth. The leader must lead by Ideatek’s culture characteristics, fostering a positive work environment, which allows for professional growth and accountability. The individual in this role must have Leadership Agility in order to maintain business success in a fast paced, adaptive environment.

Location:

This role may be remote (Wichita or Hutchinson, KS areas are ideal) with the expectation of in person presence monthly. Our corporate office is located in Buhler, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:

    • Lead, by example and application of the Ideatek culture.

    • Develop and communicate a clear vision that aligns with the company’s overall objectives.

    • Oversight of the full sales process - acquisition, relationship management and increased revenue generation.

    • Oversight of the full marketing process - driving and increasing brand and demand for services.

    • Analyze and optimize current processes to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and execute on strategic plans to achieve overarching company goals.

    • Build comprehensive growth opportunities pipeline and drive growth initiatives (new customers) based on market trends, data analysis and technology.

    • Manage and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the sales and marketing efforts.

    • Provide accurate and timely sales and marketing forecasts and pipeline reports to leadership

  • Driving Results:

    • Drive new revenue growth strategies, increasing profitability.

    • Implement proven lead generation strategies to uncover additional opportunities.

    • Hold managers and team members accountable to results. Build training and development opportunities for them to excel in their careers.

    • Oversight of sales incentives and compensation programs, understanding what will drive best results for the company as well as the team.

Skills & Requirements::

  • 20+ years of sales and/or marketing leadership experience

Preferences:

  • Background of Marketing experience is highly preferred

  • Educational background in Marketing is highly preferred

  • Prior experience leading or collaborating with community relations
