Overview:
Crown Properties Collection’s (CPC) purpose is to provide unprecedented global representation for world-renowned sports and entertainment brands and venues, led by its founding partners and clients, MSG Entertainment and Sphere Entertainment. CPC is proud to oversee the global partnership and sponsorship representation of all brands and properties across the MSG family of companies, including Sphere, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, The Chicago Theatre, New York Knicks, New York Rangers, MSG Networks, the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular. Crown Properties Collection was created in September 2023 by Oak View Group and Madison Square Garden Entertainment and Sphere Entertainment with the intent of becoming a positive disruption in our industry and immediately became the larger partnership of its kind in the live industry.

This role will pay a salary of $185,000 to $215,000.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a senior leader of the Crown Properties sales team, selling significant partnerships across our portfolio (Knicks, Rangers, MSG, Rockettes, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, Chicago Theatre, Sphere, MSG Networks)– including category-specific founding and official partners
  • Relentlessly prospect and drive outreach to potential partners
  • Engage in a partner-focused, consultative sales approach, identifying and understanding client needs and delivering creative solutions that drive revenue
  • In conjunction with the Partner Solutions and Strategy teams, develop best-in-class presentations
  • Lead delivery of pitches and negotiations
  • Maintain existing C-Suite relationships and develop new ones; Serve as the corporate “face” of MSG Entertainment to prospective partners ensuring a healthy bench of executive relationships at all times
  • Leverage hosting assets, specifically events at Madison Square Garden and Sphere, to develop new relationships and close deals
  • Contribute to a collaborative sales environment by working closely with all Madison Square Garden and Sphere revenue departments to ensure new partnerships are aligned with strategic objectives
  • Evolve with Crown Properties as it grows its clientele base to support sales efforts for future clients
  • Drive leads across the broader Oak View Group portfolio if/when appropriate
  • Participate in and embrace team culture where wins are collective and not individual; Celebrate success
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 15+ years’ experience, ideally with a focus on complex, high-investment sales that require C-Suite sign off
  • Sales management experience preferred
  • Other beneficial work experiences could include but are not limited to sports and/or live event marketing, brand management, corporate consulting or corporate affairs
  • Proficient writing and dynamic public speaking / presentation abilities
  • Belief in a data-driven approach to sales and experienced in CRM (preferably Salesforce)
