VP of Technology

The Vice President of Technology’s responsibility is to transform enterprise solutions that improve digital profitability, bolster operational outcomes and drive sustained growth corporate wide. This position is instrumental in advancing technology capabilities and driving business performance.

The VP, Technology will be a key member of the Leadership Team. He/she will be accountable for providing the overall leadership, vision and strategy of the technology and IT organization with the objective to drive and manage change, and to effectively achieve its operational and financial objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Create a vision focused on the modernization, security, maintenance, support and the operation of various systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic plan that is aligned with Woodcraft’s strategy to ensure that the information technology systems and infrastructure continue to meet future needs.
• Responsible for oversight of the technology to support e-commerce web platform and achieve desired results.
• Review key systems to determine the appropriate architecture for future growth and new business opportunities.
• Create and manage the IT budget, expense, non-recurring and capital expenditures and business plans to ensure strategic priorities are achieved in a cost-effective manner.
• Serve on the Leadership Team to align technology goals to other departmental and organizational objectives.
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
• 10-15+ years of progressive technology related management experience.
• Previous experience as a VP of Technology or similar technical leadership role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is required
• Ability to use and effectively evaluate various operating systems and platforms.
• Prefer brick & mortar retail and eCommerce experience.
