Summary
VP of Commercial Excellence
The VP of Commercial Excellence leads the Commercial Excellence across the Advantage Business Segments (Retail Services, Branded Services, Experiential Services). The position works in partnership with the senior commercial leaders on the strategic evolution and implementation of Commercial models and leads in support of the sales team to drive revenue and efficiency. The function ensures integrity of data, synthesizes analytic findings, and develops recommendations for review with commercial leadership based on internal information and the competitive landscape. This position will also partner with key technology teams to develop and build strategic roadmaps for the next generation of Commercial Excellence tools and capabilities. You will also be expected to provide strategic viewpoints and actions to leadership, in partnership with Shared Service functional teams to drive change and growth.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead the implementation of short and long-term strategic priorities and business objectives through strategic planning, project management, and operational execution
2. Responsible for the strategic and operational oversight across Operational business units to drive visibility on operating model performance and implement strategic initiatives to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness
3. Serve as governance to establish processes across Business Operations functions or special projects
4. Translate strategic objectives from business transformation initiatives into actionable plans and ensure flawless execution of those plans
5. Develop, prioritize, and execute business process excellence initiatives to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across Business segments
6. Lead operating model design, business process design
7. Lead efforts to partner with leadership team and stakeholders to define and deploy key performance indicators to monitor past, current, and future performance of business processes
8. Develop and oversee data analysis efforts to produce accurate, efficient, and timely data reporting models, ad hoc reports, and internal reports for all functional areas within the Business Segment.
9. Lead efforts to identify barriers to operational success of Business Segments and drive solutions to address business needs and ensure operational excellence.

- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or consulting, preferably in the consumer-packaged good industry
- Previous management experience
- Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt required
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders in a highly matrix environment
- Ability to synthesize complex data sets/information into actionable solutions, executive presence
- Ability to present in front of C-suite audience, Digital Dexterity, Change Management
- Build organizational capability and engagement
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives using leading industry methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC, DFSS etc.)
- Minitab experience and advanced statistical skills
- Proven track record of implementing improvement projects that leads to measurable financial savings
- Experience in root cause investigations and problem-solving methodologies
- Proven experience around designing an organizational model to deliver a winning continuous improvement strategy and exemplary business results
- Analyzes multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
