VP, Global Studio Operations, Systems/Platforms - Calvin Klein

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the VP, Global Studio Operations, Systems/Platforms, you will be responsible for leading and managing our photo Studio Operations to ensure the production of compelling and high-quality visual content for our e-commerce platforms. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience and driving online sales through visually appealing and on-brand imagery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive global photo studio strategy in alignment with the company's overarching e-commerce objectives, leveraging insights from market trends and consumer behavior analysis. Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts to synchronize photo studio activities with product launches, marketing initiatives, and other business endeavors, ensuring cohesive and impactful visual storytelling. Drive strategic decision-making by providing insightful recommendations based on data-driven analyses and industry benchmarks, positioning the photo studio as a key contributor to the company's competitive advantage.

Team Management:

Cultivate a high-performing and cohesive team of photographers, stylists, editors, and creative professionals through effective leadership, mentorship, and talent development initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and exploration of new techniques, technologies, and creative approaches. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team, fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued, resulting in a more dynamic and inclusive creative process.

Workflow Optimization:

Design and implement streamlined photo production workflows that optimize resource allocation, minimize bottlenecks, and maximize efficiency without compromising on quality. Spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency, from image capture and editing to final asset delivery. Continuously evaluate and refine best practices for image selection, retouching, and editing to maintain a consistent visual identity across all e-commerce platforms and channels.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and uphold uncompromising standards for visual content quality, conducting regular audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and industry benchmarks. Implement robust quality control processes and feedback mechanisms to address any deviations from established standards promptly and effectively, maintaining brand integrity and customer trust. Champion a culture of excellence and attention to detail within the team, instilling a mindset of continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering exceptional visual experiences.

Technology Integration:

Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in e-commerce photography, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage innovative tools and platforms to enhance productivity, creativity, and efficiency. Collaborate with IT and other relevant stakeholders to evaluate, select, and integrate digital asset management (DAM) systems and other technological solutions that align with the unique needs and objectives of the photo studio. Drive the seamless integration of systems and platforms to facilitate the efficient management, organization, and distribution of visual assets across all e-commerce channels, optimizing the impact on customer engagement and conversion rates.

Systems and Platform Oversight:

Lead the strategic implementation and optimization of all marketing systems and platforms with a focus on digital asset management (DAM) systems, ensuring the efficient organization, retrieval, and utilization of the company's vast library of visual assets. Collaborate with IT and other departments to evaluate and select platform solutions that support the evolving needs of the global organization, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and interoperability. Monitor platform performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization, driving continuous innovation and enhancement of our Studio Operations to meet the demands of a dynamic e-commerce landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in a leadership role within an e-commerce photo studio or a similar creative environment. Strong understanding of e-commerce trends and the impact of visual content on online consumer behavior. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years proven and progressive photo Studio Operations experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills; positive, energetic and open minded
  • Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Fully proficient with Keynote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and analyzing data
  • Customer Service orientated
  • Be comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports, as well as executive level personnel
  • Confidently lead, motivate and influence project progress
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on multiple concurrent tight deadlines

Direct:                 Coordinator, Project Management PDP

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to the development of overall project/process management standards and best practices bringing specific business unit knowledge and experience.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:

The VP, Global Studio Operations, Systems/Platforms should be resourceful at solving challenges in creative ways to ensure on time delivery

Pay Range:PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
