VP – Experience Solutions

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: As a member of our executive leadership team, you’ll develop the capabilities of our Experience Solutions practice and support our most complex client engagements. As the thought leader in learning and experience design, you will apply your subject matter expertise to advance, refine and implement Oxygen’s point of view on adult learning, experience architecture and how to utilize a creative studio to enhance performance support. You’ll own the high-level roadmap and strategy of the practice team, while at times diving into the fine details of client engagements to add an expert touch.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE:

  • Develop and execute strategies to advance the Experience Solutions practice at Oxygen, centered on our accelerated learning design principles and business-outcome-based methodology.
  • Lead our most complex projects requiring experience architecture expertise and sophisticated client management.
  • When required, serve as engagement lead in a client-facing, billable capacity
  • Scale our delivery by upskilling our team and developing leaders.
  • Effectively manage and deploy Oxygen’s employee and consulting workforces to maximize quality of work and employee engagement.
  • Own and monitor major project budgets and resolve resourcing challenges.
  • Serve as the top point of escalation for Experience Solutions projects and talent solutions engagements.
  • Coach project leads through difficult client engagements and milestones.
  • Collaborate with Oxygen Studios and Marketing to drive revenue by contributing to white papers, podcasts, and similar initiatives in support of brand development.

YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US IF YOU HAVE:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of progressive professional services experience, ideally in the adult learning services, human capital management, or creative industries
  • 3 or more years of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience leading and delivering successful consulting projects for enterprise clients
  • Expert-level understanding of adult learning theory, human-centric design and development, and/or creative production processes
  • Consultative approach and ability to incorporate cross-functional perspectives and represent Oxygen’s design standards on client engagements
  • Experience working in agile, matrixed, and/or geographically distributed delivery teams

Preferred locations: Washington State, Virginia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Maryland, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, or Missouri.


Oxygen will offer the successful candidate a competitive base salary compensation and benefits package. The targeted range for this role is $170-190k. Benefits offerings include 100% paid for medical, dental and vision coverage and generous coverage for dependents. Oxygen also offers a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, Flexible Spending Account, and a generous paid time-off (vacation, sick, holidays) program.
