Vp, Device Care Center Operations

As the VP of Device Care Center, you will oversee the site management for all manufacturing areas to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. You will also oversee forward and reverse logistics liquidation and associated activities.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Support the development and lead the implementation of long-range and annual strategies for the US Lifestyle Connected Living businesses, including Insurance, Trade-in, Upgrade, Repair, and Liquidation. This includes:
• Managing existing and creating new and innovative solutions that will provide a differentiated advantage.
• Utilizing supply chain strategies for maximum growth and impact in view of a continuously evolving environment that will be responsible and accountable for achieving a successful supply chain function.
• Leveraging global strategies, platforms, standards, and processes to effectively manage demand planning and forecasting and inventory and supply planning to strengthen and streamline the overall supply chain and maximize the value derived from every asset touched worldwide.
• Maintain high customer service with internal/external customers and partners to ensure supply chain procedures are accountable and transparent and include all required information and documentation.
• Leads team to improve knowledge of strategic supply chain for ongoing strengthening of operations, service delivery, and enhancing the customer experience.
• Partner with IT to develop strategy and define needs, ensuring technology is appropriately applied to each stage of the supply chain process to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement supply chain strategies and solutions to get the best value for expenditures, including but not limited to setting minimum operational standards, coordinating supply chain planning, ensuring proper warehousing and inventory of goods, supporting the timely distribution of goods, and complying with legal requirements as well as hands-on execution of the strategy in support of current and future needs.
• Work across departments to support seamless operation and develop common requirements and business processes to leverage key suppliers and the overall portfolio.
• Develop processes and tools for collecting, flowing, and using quantitative and qualitative data for informed decision-making at all levels.
• Oversee the evaluation, development, contracting implementation, and monitoring of warehousing, logistics, and distributed supply chain networks. Ensure the business and regulatory requirements are being met.
• Directs safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Oversee the development of supply chain guidelines and training modules.
• Develop, coach, and motivate US Supply Chain teams to ensure results are delivered aligned with organizational objectives and Annual Operating Plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the success of Assurant Solutions.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of senior-level supply chain management experience
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or manufacturing and managing teams with demonstrated ability to implement supply chain strategies.
• Substantial knowledge and experience with logistics, including warehousing and procurement specifications, RFP/RFQs, evaluation of bids, supplier evaluation, negotiation, selection, and contracts.
• Demonstrated success in a leadership role.

How much should I expect to travel?

• Potentially up to 25%

Pay Range:
$192,200.00 - $320,800.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
