Job Overview:
Reporting to the EVP, Total Rewards, the VP of Compensation within Human Capital will operate in a matrix environment providing strategic and operational support to business leadership while supporting Human Capital initiatives. This role would work to centralize Compensation Planning, Design, Governance, reporting, and metrics, as well as compensation communication and plan documentation.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with each business unit leadership team and human capital business partners to develop compensation plans that are in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Research effectiveness of current compensation metrics and review for potential areas of improvement.
  • Research and benchmark market data for compensation programs to evaluate the competitiveness of compensation plans.
  • Ensure operational oversight of compensation programs including separation of duties (e.g., design, calculations, audit, reporting, administration, etc.)
  • Function as a dedicated and primary resource for employees who have questions regarding their compensation plans.
  • Lead a compensation team, driving performance through modern management methods.
  • Partner with internal risk department to evaluate and report on any potential risks with LPL's compensation plans.
  • Continually explore innovative ways to improve LPL performance through the appropriate application of job grading systems, alignment to compensation, and impact on budget.
  • Coordinating with other departments, project lead the development of quarterly presentation materials for the LPL Management Committee.
  • Partner with, and help as directed by the SVP Total Rewards, Executive Compensation lead and Sales Incentive Compensation lead.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+years of business experience with preferably 5+ years of compensation leadership experience.

Pay Range:
$146,800-$220,200/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
