Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible banking or agricultural lending experience involving credit extension, including the marketing, credit underwriting, administration and analysis of Commercial Credits and agribusiness loans.
Essential Functions:
Works with relationship managers and other credit analysts in the analysis, servicing, and reporting of the Association's mortgage and commercial loans. Processes and approves loans within the limits of delegated authority consistent with Association policies. Counsels relationship managers and credit analysts on proper commercial loan procedures. Conducts regular evaluations of the commercial loan portfolio as it relates to composition, liquidity, and credit quality as well as compliance with all applicable lending policies and regulations. Will determine Probability of Default (PD) ratings as appropriate and make recommendations for approval or denial of loans. Performs loan servicing tasks, which may include partial releases, subordination's to mineral leases and right of ways, division orders, re-amortizations, assumptions, severance agreements and insurance claims. May work with Chief Credit Officer in loan portfolio management, to include reporting for senior management and the Board. Frequent travel is required. This position has considerable latitude for decision making.
