How You’ll Make an Impact as a VP – Manpower Channel Delivery

The VP - Manpower Channel Delivery drives the strategy and execution for omni-channel delivery including the direct oversight of offshore and enterprise delivery as well as offshore delivery to support our Convenience business. This role partners closely with our Client Serving teams and Market Leaders to drive recruiting solutions. This role will lead and operationalize a streamlined structure for delivery outside of convenience which includes the strategy for recruitment methods, systems and processes across each channel to enable the brand to achieve profitable growth. Leverages deep IT tools, talent and domain expertise, with a focus on emerging trends, to develop the capabilities and knowledge necessary for strong recruiting performance. The VP - Manpower Channel Delivery will ensure end to end accountability for 100% order fulfillment and day to day operating rhythm with a focus on collaboration to achieve results.
  • Determine the strategic direction and fulfilment objectives for Manpower Enterprise; translate the strategy into actions, supporting and delivering profitable enterprise channel BLC growth through our Servicing organization.
  • Accountable for helping establish ramp, performance, and development KPIs for recruiters, and designing programs, processes and systems that enable the achievement of expectations.
  • Drive multi-channel governance across enterprise portfolio with focus on enterprise clients to drive accurate order prioritization, increased fill rates, and channel delivery accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Manpower Convenience Leaders to facilitate and promote strategic utilization of omni-channel delivery in our Convenience Markets
  • Continue to build offshore delivery capability and manage partnership with third party resource partner. Adjust resourcing to ramp resources based on large client ramps and demand.
  • Lead a team of Recruiting Directors & Managers/ Leads to deliver Onsite Delivery Channel flow-through by developing efficient delivery methods that improve the client experience and deliver excellence in onsite delivery.
  • Inspire and lead a team of Recruiting Managers and dedicated recruiters (onsite, offshore and virtual) to ensure best in class delivery, and improved flow-through by developing efficient delivery methods that improve the client experience and deliver excellence in onsite delivery.
  • Systematize Onsite Delivery across all onsite programs (Client Programs and non-Client Programs Onsites) to deliver a consistent onsite channel experience across all clients.
  • Assess organizational recruitment strengths and gaps to inform talent strategy for maximizing productivity and performance.
  • Design and implement capacity planning tool and processes to improve client fulfillment and recruiter productivity while also improving efficiency through stronger SG&A management against all open orders.
  • Maintain a level of expertise on recruiting trends to develop strategies and processes that utilize both traditional and innovative sources, covering all possible talent pools available to the business.
  • Joint responsibility with Manpower territory and other delivery leaders to design infrastructure, systems and processes that maximize recruiter productivity and improve outcomes. Oversee execution of and adherence to a common operating framework
  • Share trends broadly across the organization with a focus on future state, and coach others on applying insights with clients and candidates to establish themselves as workforce experts.
  • Assess labor market needs to understand and develop appropriate recruiting channels and anticipate client need
  • Based on external analysis and previous experience, present observations and recommendations to executive leadership on how to innovate the way we deliver to our clients – technology, tools, models and operational excellence
  • Create a robust recruiter onboarding program for new team members, and ongoing training to upskill onsite recruiters to talent agent and enhance the overall Associate Experience, measured by industry leading Associate Net Promoter Scores.
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, managing and developing a team. Typical span of control is 10-15 direct reports, 250+ indirect reports.
  • Market and industry leader known in communities of relevance and looked to for World of Work expertise.
  • Offers customized workforce solutions to clients by collaborating across teams/brands to leverage the full suite of ManpowerGroup solutions. Evaluate and predict market trends and embed insights into continuous improvement of client performance.
  • Translate thought leadership into relevant insights and wins with clients.
  • Support sales in going to market with solutions that differentiate us from our competitors; attend sales pitches as needed as a delivery SME.
  • Enhance the health and credibility of our client partnerships via delivery excellence, actionable workforce insight, and tailored recruiting strategies.
  • Elevate delivery standards and overall client experience by focusing on developing a best in class associate experience – including expansion of our MyPath programs for onsite associates and clients.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all processes and mitigate risks to satisfaction due to recruiter errors and/or inefficiencies.
  • Partner with Enterprise Leadership team, including Client Principals to forecast and build recruiter capacity plans around client demand; drive recruiter accountability to deliver on client commitments.
  • Develop operational processes to support efficient delivery of project, seasonal, and other client ramp requirements; scale this impact to support existing clients and productize this approach to acquire new client.
  • Support and influence client relationships acting as escalation point to navigate fulfillment and delivery issues and bring appropriate resolution.
  • Consult with, and act as an advisor to Enterprise Leadership team, Client Principals, and Sales Leaders in the creation and implementation of recruitment processes, training, onboarding and support of recruiters across the organization.
  • Address account escalations for workforce management programs when necessary. Ensure operational relationships and SLAs with the client are managed and maintained by teams.
  • Participate in the sales process, providing subject matter expertise as a servicing SME across dedicated, centralized, disbursed, and virtual client delivery.
  • Own relationships with the C-Suite and direct pursuit team in order to strategically build client network and influence.
  • Assess progress to recruiting plans and order fulfillment.
  • Partner with Client Servicing and Convenience leadership teams to determine resourcing needs to fill orders.
  • Allocate workload and resources appropriately.
  • Work with Delivery team and Client Servicing to develop strategy and solutions to improve overall recruiting activity and client satisfaction.
  • Engage in client meetings serving as the delivery expert.
  • Analyze operational metrics, set up/use dashboards.
  • Use our dashboards and metrics to hold teams accountable for order fulfillment.
  • Research, consultation on technology tools, emerging trends, attend and represent ManpowerGroup at industry events.
  • Coach delivery channel leaders on enabling delivery performance and building specialty recruiting capabilities and expertise.
  • Schedule 1:1s with directs.
  • Process design and documentation via playbooks, training guides
Location: This role can be onsite in Milwaukee, WI or Virtual


Qualifications

What you’ll bring with you

AKA candidate requirements:
  • Management: 10+ years demonstrated managerial and operational experience.
  • Recruiting: 10+ years Staffing industry experience or full life-cycle recruitment experience. Management experience overseeing a large recruiting team or recruiting center.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Management: Experience operating as a P&L Owner over a delivery center, territory or portfolio of client accounts.
  • Recruiting: Prior experience delivering services to large, national account clients.
