VP BSA Officer

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced VP BSA Officer. Hybrid working capabilities available based out of Concord, NH!

The successful applicant will have strong leadership and critical thinking skills. In this role, you will work closely with our internal customers and provide oversight to up to five BSA analyst team members. The incumbent serves as the VP BSA Officer for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), Merrimack County Savings Bank (MCSB), Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW), and the trust customer segment of New Hampshire Trust Company (NHTrust).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and administers BSA/AML program that ensures compliance with applicable state and federal consumer protection laws and regulations
• Anticipate, identify and take action to mitigate BSA/AML risks.
  Ensures compliance with applicable BSA/AML laws and regulations while meeting organization business objectives.
• Oversight of the BSA Team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 7 to 10 years of current banking industry experience serving in the role of BSA Officer
• Current certification of Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS/ACAMS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Significant BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory compliance experience and knowledge
• Experience reading and interpreting new and existing regulations and developing associated policy and procedures
• Strong background working with internal clients to resolve business challenges and mutually works to find solutions that balance business and regulatory needs
• Strong analytical reasoning including financial analysis skills; superior time, project management and execution skills with the ability to prioritize
