VP, Artist Development - MNRK (New York)

MNRK Music Group is looking for a VP, Artist Development to join our team in New York. As the VP, Artist Development you will lead project management & marketing efforts for artists on the MNRK recorded music roster by developing and implementing best practices, procedures, and policies that achieve business goals and drive consumptions of releases. You will be a key senior leader responsible for developing strategies to support MNRK's growth objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading project management & marketing efforts for artists on the MNRK recorded music roster including music from alternative, Hip Hop, metal, R&B, and rock genres.
• Developing and implementing best practices, procedures, and policies to help achieve established business goals.
• Managing the Project Management team by managing team workload, providing guidance/support, communicating expectations, etc.
• Strategizing on release schedules, marketing campaigns, & ways to drive revenue.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with department heads to create efficiencies and streamlined processes for team.
• Determining overall project budgets & monitoring spending to ensure projects meet established budget parameters.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all artists & managers on the roster.
• Managing relationships with key external partners and third-party companies.
• Working with senior management to cultivate a positive environment focused on bringing music to market and maximizing consumption.
• Special project, as assigned.

What Makes Your Qualified:

• 10+ years of experience in project management, label development, or the equivalent.
• 5+ years managing a team at a record label, distribution company, or DSP.
• 5+ years of managing artist or label P&Ls and a demonstrated ability to manage/oversee budgets.
• Experience managing a robust audio & video release schedule,
• Highly organized, detail oriented and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, client and vendors.
