Summary
We are looking for a Visualization Engineer to support the Vendor Management Office within Global Technology who will be responsible for designing and developing Tableau dashboards using data sets from various sources.
As a part of the Vendor Management Office we often function as consultants to cross-functional teams and develop financial, labor and contract status reports, this role will largely be responsible for the developing, publishing, and maintaining those interactive reports and dashboards.
Tops 3 skills:
Strong understanding and experience building and maintaining visualizations in Tableau
Competency with analytical tools (R, Python, Tableau, smart sheet, etc). as well as excel/office suites
Quantitative and qualitative analysis
Duties:
Creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analysis. Develops and applies software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. Provides product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development.
