ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism - from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Our Spring 2024Visual Merchandising Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside our Visual Merchandising and Creative Services team to make sure our business needs are being met. Organization and attention to detail are key elements to this role.
This internship is an unpaid role and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and execute fundamental Visual Merchandising skills including bi-weekly floor sets, new category launches and collaborations
- Manage distribution of Visual Merchandising collateral and inventory to stores
- Assist Visual Merchandising team in merchandising stores and our NYC showroom
- Create and install window displays in our local NYC stores
- Assist with visual design and merchandising of photo shoots
- Source materials, fabrics, and other visual needs
- Support the launch of new store openings

SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS
- Currently enrolled in college or university
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Fashion major preferred
- Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
