Position Summary:
The Visual Document Inspector is responsible for visually inspecting digital documents on a computer to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial for single line data entry, and quality control, where maintaining the integrity of digital documents is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Verification: Open and view digital documents, images, and other electronic formats. Verify that the document's content matches the provided specifications, guidelines, or templates.
Quality Control: Identify and rectify formatting errors, typographical mistakes, and inconsistencies in documents. Ensure that documents meet company standards and industry-specific regulations.
Data Accuracy: Cross-check data in documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Validate numerical and textual data against source materials or databases.
Communication: Collaborate with team members to clarify document requirements and resolve discrepancies. Report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential documents with discretion and maintain data privacy and security.
Efficiency and Productivity: Work efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets.
Utilize document inspection software or tools effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a relevant field may be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of data integrity and the importance of maintaining document accuracy.
