Position Summary
The Sturm College of Law seeks to hire a dedicated and innovative individual, at the rank of Visiting Assistant, Associate, or full Professor of the Practice of Law, for the 2024-25 academic year to teach in its Lawyering Process Program. The successful candidate will teach two sections of Lawyering Process. At their election, the colleague will have the ability to teach an additional upper-division elective course on a compensated overload basis.
The successful candidate would be expected to commence employment no later than August 1, 2024.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is UC.
Salary Range:
For applicants who are not currently serving on the faculty of another U.S. law school, the anticipated title would be Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice of Law, with an associated salary range of $85,000-$90,000.
For applicants who are currently serving on the faculty of another U.S. law school, the anticipated title would be commensurate with a candidates experience, and payment would be made through an inter-institutional agreement with the applicants home institution, covering the applicants salary and benefits.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
