TheBiomedical Engineering Program at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology seekscandidates for a Visiting Faculty position for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Qualified candidateswill have a doctorate or near completion in Biomedical Engineering, engineeringeducation, or another closely related field. Candidates with documented successin teaching, in both classroom and laboratory settings, as well as a provencommitment to improve themselves as a teacher and/or mentor are stronglypreferred. The essential job function of this Visiting Faculty position isteaching students in undergraduate courses. Although this position is expectedto be for one year, candidates who meet these qualifications and are seeking alonger-term opportunity are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates in allfields of Biomedical Engineering; however, the ability to teach introductoryand advanced coursework in biomechanics and/or engineering design is preferred.The department and the Institute place a high value on engaging students fromtraditionally underrepresented groups, and candidates from these groups areespecially encouraged to apply.
