Our goal is to be recognized as the best operation in minor league baseball at everything we do. This starts delivering the experience possible for our visiting teams to the extent that they travel the league sharing how well they were taken care of while visiting St. Paul. The clubhouse provides the focal point and ‘heart’ of a baseball club. It often determines the way a player develops and the level of success he has both on and off the field. A well-managed clubhouse offers a multi-functional facility, from providing a meeting room to acting as a second home to the players. It is a vital role of the Visiting Clubhouse Manager to provide maximum customer service to our visiting team players, coaches, athletic training and strength staff. This individual will be directly responsible for assisting with the Visiting Clubhouse needs but will also be responsible for the umpires’ locker services. This individual must be willing to work long, non-traditional hours while maintaining a levelheaded, thick skinned, detail oriented approach in a fast-paced environment. Pre-Season Clubhouse Responsibilities:-Cleaning (Visiting Team Areas – manager’s office/shower, coaches office/shower, players locker room, visiting players ;lounge/commissary, bathroom/shower, training area, entry/exit ways, dugouts, lockers, umpires room)-Meet with bat boys and develop a scheduleThese duties are essential to making our visiting team staff and players feel comfortable and welcome when they arrive for a series. A clean and organized clubhouse leaves a good impression with the coaches and players. Game Day Responsibilities:Every series begins with the visiting team arrival. It is the Visiting Clubhouse Manager’s responsibility to coordinate with the visiting team on their arrival, assist with unloading their busses and assist with their load-in to the Visiting Clubhouse.Cleaning/Laundry:-Laundry: Visiting team (personals, uniforms, staff shirts, towels, etc…)-Visiting Clubhouse- Pick up coaches locker room (trash, food etc…), pick up garbage, pick up training room, cleaning crew will vacuum and dump garbage cans. Supervise Visiting Clubhouse Assistant relative maintaining cleaning and servicing the Visiting Clubhouse and umpires locker room.Gameday Services:-Coordinate with visiting team to assist with pregame and postgame meals. Maintain a steady inventory of snacks and healthy foods to meet the needs of the coaches and players (as defined by MLB PDL guidelines, and the guidance of the Certified Athletic Trainer. Provide the same services to the umpires. -Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of the visiting dugout for all gameday activities. Clean and/or supervise the cleaning of the visiting dugout after each game (bat boys may assist in this process).Schedule: Coincides with Saints home game schedule, approximately 12-15 days per monthTerm of employment: Coincides with baseball season
