DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining a demanding up-time of corporate and production Virtual systems. Configure,
manage and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure. Implement and support Virtual systems and solutions  (VMware ESXi) and administer Windows servers in a virtual environment. Responsible for following established practices and procedures. Make decisions within established departmental guidelines. Conduct required maintenance and provide support 24/7. Position has high visibility due to directly impacting critical service. Planning, designing, and hands on implementation, maintenance, automation, and repair of a VMware, Cisco UCS, Nutanix solutions. Provide high level escalation engineering support and roadmap ownership for enterprise components and environment architectures. Design, deploy and troubleshoot a mix of infrastructure and application delivery tasks as assigned. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Virtualization Engineer-related occupation. Position requires 5 years of experience in the following: scripting (PowerShell/PowerCLI).; VMware virtualization stack (vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, DRS, vMotion, HA, FT, DRS, SRM, vROPs, vRealize, NSX); Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 technologies; network services IP, ARP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, etc.; storage and backup solutions; SCSI, Fiber attached, NetApp, Cohesity; Nutanix Hyper-Converged technologies 

RATE OF PAY:  $120,000/year
