In partnership with the US Forest Service, MobilizeGreen is launching our 2024 Virtual Youth Conservation Corps, a national program, that will engage youth in a variety of educational and skills based activities, including but not limited to environmental education, professional development, exploring public lands, service projects, and self-care. With a focus on engaging BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth, MobilizeGreen’s YCC program will provide an introduction to Conservation careers, opening doors for youth typically underrepresented in this field. Crews, each consisting of up to 30 youth, will participate in 20-25 hours of programming a week.
MobilizeGreen is a nonprofit organization focused on jumpstarting green careers for diverse students, through internships, mentoring, and youth engagement. At MobilizeGreen, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Consistent with this mission, we believe people are inherently capable but often lack opportunity. We are working hard to increase the diversity in conservation spaces and strongly encourage qualified BIPOC and LGBTQ+ candidates to apply.
