Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Pennsylvania (Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime, Work From Home Contract OpportunitiesÂ
Pay: $40+/Hour
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Virtual School SLP, you will provide teletherapy services to students enrolled in our virtual school program across Pennsylvania. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills using virtual assessment tools.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide teletherapy sessions to students using video conferencing platforms, delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement strategies that support students' communication goals in the virtual learning environment.
- Monitor students' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and communication logs.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on implementing speech and language strategies and accommodations in the virtual classroom.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices, research, and technology in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Participate in virtual meetings, professional development activities, and team collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Pennsylvania state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Prior experience working as an SLP in a school setting or providing teletherapy services preferred.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and virtual assessment tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to students.
- Flexible and adaptable to the virtual learning environment.
