Virtual School Based Occupational Therapist - Maryland

Position Overview: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Occupational Therapist to join our team in Maryland. This is a virtual position serving elementary and middle school populations across three school sites in La Plata and Indian Head. The successful candidate will operate on a 1099 contract basis and must be able to provide liability insurance.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessment: Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
2. Individualized Plans: Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
4. Virtual Intervention: Provide virtual occupational therapy services to students.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. License: Valid Maryland state license as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Experience: Previous experience working with elementary and middle school populations is preferred.
4. Liability Insurance: Candidate must be able to provide liability insurance.
5. Technology Skills: Proficient in using virtual platforms for therapy sessions.
