JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Remote Parts Salesperson
REPORTS TO: CTAC Manager / VP Customer Support
WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Location Customer-Counter Sales / Department Managers
JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of remote customer service duties including call management, promotion, advertising, sales and support of aftermarket and complete goods products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):
- Communicate with customers to guarantee satisfaction, provide solutions, and receive feedback.
- Handle direct and rollover calls from departments across the company.
- Plays an integral part of the company after-hours solutions.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone calls, emails, and other apps.
- Timely processing of online orders while ensuring accuracy of orders.
- Document and update customer records based on interactions.
- Prepare and submit reports to track daily, weekly, and monthly metrics as assigned.
- Sell products / services and receive payment to meet customer needs over the phone.
- Monitor/use ExpertConnect to ensure customers receive a timely response across the company.
- Follow processes and procedures for handling all customer issues.
- Performs other tasks as directed by his/her supervisor.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ Years' experience in agriculture parts business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of the online selling processes.
- Excellent customer relationship and follow-up skills.
- Ability to learn and comprehend JDPARTS ADVISOR
- Ability to learn and understand Parts within the CDK business system.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to effectively listen.
- Ability to interpret customer and service technician needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extended periods of sitting, must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, extensive hours on a computer.
