Peraton is seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to provide enterprise VDI services. Responsibilities include:
- Design, deliver, and optimize VDI Services to improve security, availability, performance, and resource utilization
- Review current VDI infrastructures, architectures, designs, and operations to identify potential improvements for optimizing system performance
- Document security, configuration, and performance benchmarks of VDI services
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
- Proven experience with VMware Virtual Center (vCenter) providing Virtual Desktop machine environment
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)
- Professional-level VMware certification desired
- ITIL Foundations certification desired
