Ideal candidate description:
Required:
- Honest, ethical
- Coachable, humble
- Presentable, likable
- A working knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Extensive personal experience with exercise, actively maintaining their own personal fitness
- Evidence of ongoing continued education after personal training certification
- Ability to reliably travel to appointments
- Liability insurance
Preferred:
- Experience training clients who have a variety of health issues
- NASM, NSCA, or ASCM certification
- An entrepreneur/growth mindset
Role
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to understand clients' goals and needs
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' fitness levels and goals
- Provide instruction and guidance on proper exercise techniques and form
- Motivate and support clients to achieve their fitness goals
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed
- Educate clients on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
