Violence Prevention Educator Position
Survivor Resource Center
The Survivor Resource Center is sexual assault response center serving survivors of sexual assault and their families/significant others. The Survivor Resource Center is a social service agency that offers counseling and/or therapy, advocacy (legal and medical), and prevention for survivors of sexual assault, their families, and the community at large.
Responsibilities include:
- Provides community-based Violence Prevention education on the following areas: anti-bullying, body safety, healthy relationships, social-emotional learning and more.
- Conducts outreach activities in the community.
- Assists in event planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
- Associate’s degree and/or relevant experience will be considered.
- Some evening and weekend hours are required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as there is some travel expected with this position. (Mileage will be compensated with travel.)

The Survivor Resource Center is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as Prevention Educator. The ideal candidate enjoys public speaking, working with children and adolescents, is dedicated to preventing violence in our community, and understands the importance of and contributes to a positive and supportive work environment. Limited on call rotation time is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Salary commensurate with experience.
