Provide Support for the Visual Imagery Intrusion Detection System (VIIDS)


Responsibilities:

  1. VIIDS Support:
    • Provide Tiers 2 and 3 support for VIIDS systems, ensuring installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance meet or exceed Government standards.
    • Keep listed VIIDS systems and components fully operational, meeting all applicable Government standards and regulations.
  2. Emergency Support:
    • Offer onsite emergency support, resolving issues within 1 hour of notification by the Government, including outside normal duty hours.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain project planning documentation, create and update network maps/diagrams, and presentation material.
    • Provide a written monthly status report on VIIDS repair and maintenance activities.
  4. Disaster Recovery:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive written disaster recovery plan for VIIDS.
    • Implement the disaster recovery plan within the allotted emergency onsite support timeframes or at the request of the Government.
  5. Quarterly Maintenance:
    • Perform comprehensive quarterly maintenance visits/inspections.
    • Provide a written report to the Government within 5 business days of the visit/inspection.
    • Resolve any deficiencies found during quarterly maintenance visits/inspections within 30 business days.
  6. Training:
    • Provide internal training to improve the CS workforce, logging completed training in the Monthly Status Report (MSR).
  7. Availability and Meetings:
    • Be available 24/7/365 within 2 hours to meet with the COR on-site.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in network design and administration.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) with valid CCNP credentials.
  • Advanced understanding of server maintenance and operation.
  • Honeywell Vindicator Intrusion Detection System, Access Control, and Vindicator Command and Control certification.
  • Certification for the Diebold LinxTM Predator Elite system.
  • Top Secret clearance with the capability of being upgraded to Yankee White.
