Description

APMEX is looking for a full-time creative Video Production Specialist who will be responsible for managing the production of video content for our company. In this position, you will oversee the entire video production process, from brainstorming ideas to final editing. You will also be expected to work closely with other departments to ensure that the videos align with the company's overall branding and messaging.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for internal company announcements, external promotions on social media, product marketing, recruiting, market trends, sales campaigns and other enterprise-wide projects
  • Ensure a high-quality video content that is aligned with the company’s guidelines
  • Coordinate multiple projects at the same time
  • Script, storyboard, record and edit videos in all formats
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
  • Develop production schedules
  • Reserve and rent equipment
  • Executing video shoots both within our studio facilities and at external locations as needed. This includes coordinating logistics, ensuring equipment readiness, and adapting to various shooting environments
  • This role involves the efficient setup and teardown of video production equipment for different projects
  • The candidate should be adept at handling a diverse range of video production equipment, including cameras, lighting systems, switchers, and converters
  • Responsible for upkeeping the studio's cleanliness, ensuring that equipment is properly stored, and the overall environment is conducive to creative collaboration
  • Continuous research and track new technical skills and equipment to enhance the company’s audio visual structure
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media
  • Manage video libraries

Qualifications

Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Graphic Design or related field
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Video Production/Editing
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience in Social Media platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is preferred
  • Portfolio of previous video work/demo reel to be emailed to Jessica.hutton@apmex.com after completing application

 

Skills

  • Video: Proficiency with DSLRs, professional video cameras, and prosumer camcorders, along with a variety of lenses. Experience with various HD and SD formats, encompassing preproduction and planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip techniques, and photography.
  • Audio: small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing
  • Post-production: digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video ideas
  • Understanding of narrative storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at a single time
  • Can communicate valuable information quickly
  • Understanding of current video trends and technologies
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
