Video Production Specialist

The City of Novi is seeking a Video Production Specialistto join the Community Relations team. Under the direction of the Director of Communications, the Video Production Specialistcoordinates and produces audio/video programming for government access television, social media and special productions, including all aspects from pre-production organization through final edition copy. Assists in supervising the operations of the video studio, both broadcast and technical. Is a visual storyteller with knowledge of current design software and skilled in the design process. Provides responsive, courteous, and efficient service in support of all City operations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Television Broadcast or similar program preferred. Three years' work experience with progressive responsibilities that require a full working knowledge of Video Production, animation graphics, and photography. A candidate who has completed a degree and has the demonstrated abilities to perform the job requirements may be considered with less than three years of experience.

Salary: $58,400 - $60,000, based on qualifications.
