Summary of Position:

The Videographer/Video Editor will play a key role in AnswerNet’s branding, training, social media, and lead generation. This is an ideal entry-level position for a recent graduate who will be responsible for the development, scripting, and editing of the video needs of the company. Requires a full-stack video production professional capable of working in highly produced and lean run-and-deliver scenarios. Must be able to handle all aspects of preproduction, production, and post.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

·         Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcements, external promotions on social media, product marketing, recruiting, corporate training, and other enterprise-wide projects.

·         Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Creative Director, and Strategy Manager to develop optimal messaging and audio/video format.

·         Script, storyboard, allocate resources, set deadlines, meet deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects.

·         Work independently or as part of a team to establish project direction and deliverables.

·         Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content and optimal format for production and delivery.

·         Leverage virtual video or distributed/crowd-sourced (employee/customer-sourced) technologies such as smartphone video, screen-sharing webinar software, etc. to create high-impact, low-cost content (i.e.. demonstrations, site tours, client testimonials, interviews, video podcasts, etc.).

·         Outline detailed production schedules.

·         Edit and assemble the final produced work with text, motion graphics, and other rich media enhancements.

·         Incorporate infographics, animations, and other digital assets consistently and professionally that align with brand guidelines.

·         Record and edit video and sound projects from external resources, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating, and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media.

·         Manage video libraries.

·         Deep experience with audio compression/cleanup, color grading, or video fx/animation is a plus.

Required Knowledge /Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, attention to detail and quality outcomes, professionalism, teamwork, collaboration, confidentiality, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational ability

·         Experience in videography and editing

·         Experience with video editing software (i.e. Adobe Premier, After Effects, Adobe Character Animator, etc.)

·         Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·         Demonstrated personal accountability

·         Ability to communicate across teams

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with daily work processing deadlines

Required Education / Certifications:

·         College or trade school Education REQUIRED

·         2-4 years experience preferred
