Job description

LCS is looking for a Video Editor & Videographer who will be responsible for filming and editing short-form and long-form video content for use across internal and external channels - employee updates, paid media, organic social, websites, email, etc. The Video Editor & Videographer will have strong knowledge of cinematography, editing, and motion design. The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge of creative strategies across multiple channels and a passion for producing high-performing, impactful content.

The Role: 

  • Responsible for the entire video workflow including concepting, storyboarding, shot list development, setting up cameras, filming, lighting, and all post production
  • Experience filming and editing both short-form and long-form footage, adding motion and design layouts to create compelling video content
  • A strong sensibility in typography layout, hierarchy, and design principles
  • Creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to concept and develop creative that resonates with our target audiences
  • Contribute to and execute on a shared creative vision, with the skillset to bring a specific look or idea to life
  • Maintain the highest creative standards and keep up with film, motion, and social trends
  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in sound and audio design a must
  • Experience in color correction a must
  • Inspire new ways of thinking, using fresh and unique approaches to filming, video editing and motion graphics
  • Some travel required (30-40%)

 

Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in film, editing, graphic design, or related field combined with relevant experience
  • A compelling portfolio reel that has a wide range of filming and editing styles
  • 6+ years of experience in video production
  • Experience with content creation
  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in the full Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, Audition)
  • Experience creating brand videos for a variety of platforms - organic social, digital ads, direct marketing, and TV
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms 
  • Highly creative with a sharp eye for details 
  • Strong knowledge of design elements and principles 
  • Knowledge of proper file handling in a post-production workflow 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally 
  • Strong communicator, this role will work with all levels and departments within our company and occasionally travel to communities to capture content

Travel Frequency: 30-40%

Job Level: B

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors
