We are growing! Mungo Homes is adding a Video Editor/Producer to our Corporate Sales team!
A Visual Storyteller utilizes skills as a photographer, videographer, editor, and producer to create multimedia content that tells Mungo’s story across multiple platforms. This position partners with Mungo’s business teams to produce communication, promotional, educational, technical, and other multimedia content in line with business unit and Company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)
- Provide video production, including pre-production, field production and post-production.
- Works on daily and long-term video assignments, sometimes as part of a team and often as a solo videographer/producer.
- Edits video in timely manner; at times may require quick turnaround; high volume of editing in this role.
- Partners with others to provide audio, b-roll, and other content to third party media organizations.
- Develops and maintains video production workflows, archiving and asset management.
- Provides inventory, maintenance, security, operation and maintenance of cameras, lighting, audio gear, editing workstation and other video production equipment.
- Handles project plans, reports on deliverables, and meets with leaders from various departments.
- Use a drone (drone pilot’s license required) or collaborate with a third party, to capture drone video footage.
- Develops compelling scripts and storyboards for a wide range of multimedia content including, but not limited to video projects, news, documentaries, promotional, and educational productions.
- Designs proposals for ideas using PowerPoint.
- Incorporate photos, animation, and graphic art into video to enhance the story.
- Take 30 minutes of video footage and condense into a 3-minute story.
- Provides counsel and production services for Mungo’s business entities in support of their communication needs and strategic goals.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in media related field.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience editing video.
- Capable in audio and lighting design and set up.
- Professional experience shooting, editing, and producing news, documentary-style, educational, and other scripted video, and audio projects as required.
- Expert-level proficiency with digital cinema as demonstrated in a portfolio or professional works samples.
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software, as demonstrated in a portfolio or professional works samples.
- Some proficiency in After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop is desired.
- Demonstrated understanding of video formats and compression, including experience using Media Encoder or similar software.
- Some experience developing storyboards and writing scripts.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders; ability to pitch a project idea and/or discuss a project scope with senior leaders.
