Role Summary:
As a Video Editor you will take over and complete a critical video editing project. Your role will involve making precise edits to an existing Premiere file, incorporating specific visual elements and animations to enhance the project's overall impact. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and finalize a video project in Adobe Premiere, following detailed specifications, creative direction + adding in their own creative input.
- Integrate dynamic animations and assets into video content, ensuring a high level of quality and creativity.
- Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and deliver edits that meet or exceed expectations.
- Provide input and make creative decisions when necessary, while also adhering to the project's creative vision.
- Manage project timelines efficiently to meet tight deadlines, ensuring swift and precise execution of video edits.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional Video Editing: Demonstrated experience with editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and possibly Adobe After Effects, with a portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
- Creative Content Creation: Background in creating engaging and visually appealing video content that aligns with brand messaging, including promotional videos, instructional content, and social media clips.
- Asset Management: Experience with organizing and managing digital assets, such as video footage, images, and audio files, ensuring easy access and efficient use during the editing process.
- Post-Production Skills: Proficiency in post-production processes, including color correction, sound editing, and adding special effects to polish and finalize videos.
- Ability to work with existing video files and make required edits based on detailed instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, making informed creative decisions as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and execute complex editing instructions.
