Video Diagnostic Appliance Repair Technician

Omega Force Appliance Repair is a small Appliance Repair company servicing the Minneapolis, MN area. We are looking to add an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to the team performing Video Diagnostics. You can work remotely from anywhere in the US as long as you have internet. You need to have a quiet work environment, no dogs, kids, or loud noises in the background

Primary Responsibilities-

• We will schedule you to diagnose appliances remotely via the special software we use.
• You will diagnose the machine, preorder parts if necessary, and schedule a technician to visit the home.
• You will be working closely with the 5 service technicians we currently have with the goal of making them as efficient as possible.
• We have a parts guru on the team who you will work with as well to solve parts issues.

Secondary Responsibilities-

• Assist answer phones when Video Diagnostic calls are slow
• Assist other office staff with appliance technical questions
• Assist with parts issues
• Fill in for other staff vacations
• Misc other tasks from time to time.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with servicing Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, Samsung Lg, and more.
• Full-time Appliance Repair for the last 5 years is mandatory.
• You will be required to pass a drug test and background check.
• Computer skills and proficiency are necessary.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
As an Appliance Repair Technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a Repair Technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance Repair Technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
