What will you do?

As TalkingParents’ Video Content Specialist, you will work closely with the Lead Video Producer on our award-winning marketing team. This entry to mid-level position will assist in the day-to-day production of both internal and client-facing video/photo content for use across all our web and social platforms.

Applicant must be willing to work in-office at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location. No remote option is available for this position.

How you’ll make an impact:

We’re looking for someone with proven skills in video production and editing, that knows how to tell a story that is both compelling and effective at producing business-oriented results. The Video Content Specialist should have good people skills when working with subjects both on and off camera and should be decisive and adaptable when filming in fast-paced, live event environments.

Position Responsibilities

- Producing high-quality, engaging video and photo content in a timely manner with minimal oversight, utilizing best marketing practices for web and social content.

- Assisting in filming events, interviews, and b-roll, as well as any photography needs.

- Prioritizing and simultaneously managing multiple projects with varying timelines, scopes, and requirements.

- Working effectively with team members and across departments, accepting constructive criticism with the ability to compromise.

- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when filming and interacting with clients, co-workers, and industry partners.

- Willingness to learn new software, equipment, and post-production skills as responsibilities expand.

Position Requirements

*Applicant must provide demo reel/portfolio demonstrating the skills required for this position. Please outline your specific contributions to any team projects.

- Demonstratable video and photo editing skills with substantial experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom.

- Experience shooting with mirrorless camera systems, (we currently use a Sony a7S III and a6600) as well as using audio recording and lighting equipment.

- Reliable transportation and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours in order to participate in video shoots and cover events. 

- Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor video production environments that are often physically demanding and involve standing for long periods of time while carrying camera equipment.

- Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Bonus Skills
Experience with animation & motion graphics, namely Adobe After Effects, is a big plus.
